Unfortunately all four moth traps which I set up around campus had insufficient battery left over so none lasted the night, ah well.

Mothing on Campus (27th February)

Continuous rain and poor weather has led to the cancellation of multiple mothing events but we (Eco Soc) eventually decided enough was enough and we set up the traps despite rain predicted for the night ahead.

The first moth we saw pulled out of the trap was this slightly worn Dark Chestnut.
